"A Comedy of Errors"
Goostrey Rural Touring Theatre |
Followers of Goostrey Rural Theatre will not be disappointed by the next play in the series of popular productions. A Comedy of Errors, somewhat similar to a play by that other well known playwright, where two actors and eighteen characters collide as a cross-dressing comic chain of events unfold. A side-splitting, all female, two hander, directed by Mark Chatterton (Liverpool Everyman) where two sets of twins find themselves mixed up in a mad-cap Mediterranean life-swap. Magic, mayhem and crazy characters in an hilarious farce. Suitable for all ages including under 8's

His concerts in cathedrals, churches and concert halls are both varied and accessible to wide range of music lovers. Comedy Evening |
Goostrey's own Comedy Club boast's a strong line-up for this one-night favourite with headliner, Sarah Millican, Kevin Bland, Danny McLoughlin and compere Ste Porter.
Sarah Millican has become one of the North East's hottest comics. "..this sweet voiced Geordie has a winning style." Chortle. "Sarah blew the crowd away and absolutely tore the roof off the gig. After 20 minutes she left the stage to a deafening ovation, and left the headliner with one hell of a job following her" - Dave Ingram BBC Wear. She won the Amused Moose Comedy Awards 2005 and was runner up - So You Think You're Funny 2005 and Funny Women 2005
Kevin Bland is a writer and stand up comedian who is, quite frankly, old enough to know better. his laid back, laconic style ensures he is a regular compere at Mirth Control venues as well as at the gig he runs for Lunacy Comedy in Shrewsbury. He was the winner - Three Minute Warning "Hardcore Legends", Limelight, Crewe 2005 and Semi Finalist - "Laughing Horse New Act of The Year", 2006 and "So You Think You're Funny?" 2006
Danny and Ste are from Chester and Liverpool respectively, and are the best two new young comedians in the North West
Definitely adult entertainment!
