We welcome your comments about Goosfest - the website, the programme, individual events you have seen, the types of events you would like to see or indeed anything else.
Comment: Gordon Giltrap was absolutely fantastic last Sunday, one of the best guitarists I have ever seen. Only wish we'd got there a bit sooner to get nearer the front. Harvey Andrews was also excellent. Please rebook these two for next year !

Comment: Goosfest just gets better and better! Huge congrats to everyone concerned. The leafets and website give a very professional feel yet there is a nice personal touch in the way that the tickets are sent and the events are introduced. I meet several people like myself who do not live in the village but who said how much they admired Goostrey getting such a varied festival off the ground. Long may it last!

Comment: We really enjoyed Goosefest thank you. A huge amount of effort for the organisers but much appreciated. We particularly enjoyed the Comedy night and Vintage Fair. A singer or group from the 70's 80's or 90's would be good next year - will have a think but appreciate budgets are limited.

Comment: On belalf of us all in Commitments Too, I would like to thank everyone who came to see us on the opening night of Goosfest 2010. Such an enthusiastic audience who danced from the opening number right through to the encore. We hope that we will get invited back next year. www.CommitmentsToo.com

Comment: Recieved the Goosfest 2011 leaflet through my door a couple of weeks ago. I'm appalled that the main event was SOLD OUT. Not very good marketing in my view, especially as I know that not all tickets went to Goostrey residents!

Comment: Good work organising this year's Goosfest, however it's disappointing to not be able to get tickets to see Paul Jones and Dave Kelly. To reiterate Dave's gripe, it seems a little odd to have "sold out" printed across the event when tickets aren't officially on sale until after the brochure arrived.

Comment: Sorry to see your comments about being unable to get Paul Jones tickets. As we did last year with Georgie Fame, we sell the main event in advance to try and cover what is the largest part of our costs. It was been advertised several times in the Parish magazine, on the Goosfest website, through our emailing list and also in some local press. We do try to provide as good a service as we can.

Comment: We went on the Lower Moss Wood Walk yesterday and were rather disappointed. We didn't see a single animal nor were we shown round the hopsital which we assumed was part of the visit. As the weather was also bad,we came away feeling rather deflated.

Comment: Hearing the poet Simon Armitage read his work at Jodrell Bank as part of Goosfest 2011 was unforgettable.
The organisers asked us to turn our mobile phones off because the radio telescope can 'hear' a phone ring on Mars. During Simon's reading, I wondered who might be listening to us from outer space? I hope that they enjoyed hearing excellent poetry and happy laughter from the packed room.
Well done Goosfest! You go from strength to strength.
