FREE Fringe Events during Goosfest 2018

  • Friday 5th October 2018:
    Red Lion, Goostrey, 5 Bar Blues, 8.15pm onwards
    This popular local 7-piece band plays an eclectic mix of music including blues, Americana & rock. They have a strong following which has earned them a fortnightly residency at The Red Lion, Goostrey, for the past 3 years. They play widely across Cheshire and Shropshire at private functions & charity fund-raising events.
  • Thursday 11th October 2018:
    Goostrey Village Hall, Little Green Men – a play by Rob Johnston, 8pm (Licensed Bar opens 7:30pm)
    This is a FREE event but tickets are required for admission.

    Jocelyn is an amateur star-gazer. She likes nothing better than being at the top of the local hill on her own with only the night-sky for company, because Jocelyn firmly believes that one day she will discover something that nobody else has ever discovered. Click here to read more and book tickets on the event page.
  • Friday 12th October 2018:
    Red Lion Goostrey, Boneyard Alley, 9.00pm onwards
    Boneyard Alley are a 5-piece band featuring the outrageous Boneyard Sally, playing a broad mix of 70’s rock songs, together with a modern mix of cover songs as well as their own songs.
